First let me apologize for the tardiness of this post. Tomorrow's workout will be... a long group run here in Boulder. Let's meet at Amante at 9:00am and depending upon how far people want to go, we can split into groups.

Physiological Testing

Now is the best time to come in for physiology testing because you can use your data to optimize your training for the upcoming season. Use your numbers now as a base line and make sure you are getting the most out of your training.

SheRox Triathlon Mentors Needed-Great Benefits!

SheRox Triathlon is the official women's sprint triathlon for Tri Babes Training! Registration opened last week. Please visit www.sheroxtri.com for more information and to register. Remember to register early before it sells out and to save on early registration discounts!


We are also looking for 10 mentors to educate and inspire new female triathletes who choose to be part of the mentor program (not all registrants are mentees). If you have raced at least 3 triathlons and would like to serve as mentor for 10 women then please read on. Please email me Coach Andie, Head Mentor Director for the SheRox Denver race, your brief triathlon racing history and why you would be a good mentor for the Denver race. I will review your application and choose the best applicants (not based on race level but rather the complete application). Please email me with any questions and forward to any female triathletes whom you might think would be interested.

Mentor Responsibilities:

· Attend a two hour training session (Mentor Kick-Off dinner meeting on Thursday, Feb. 25th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. Where dinner and drinks will be provided by SheRox) where mentors will learn how to mentor novice triathletes.

· Contact their mentees a minimum of twice a month via e-mail or phone to answer questions, address concerns, provide tips and offer suggestions.

· Plan, promote and execute at least one group workout for your mentee group prior to race day.

· Attend a minimum of two SheROX sponsored clinics or group workouts (these could include a fellow mentors scheduled group workout.)

· Monitor mentee needs and progress and keep Head Mentor apprised of progress and issues.
