Jenni Kiel of BOLD Multiport coaches Tri Babes for rest of season

As many of you know, I've been working on my registered dietitian R.D. credentials over the last 7 years part-time. To complete my registered dietitian R.D. credentialing a year of internship is required covering clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and other nutrition rotations.

There is a national matching system and I was matched at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System Dietetic Internship Program. I'm heading to Los Angeles this week (June 1st) and will start my dietetic internship orientation at the VA June 20th through April 27, 2012. Summer Session Added!

Summer Season includes same benefits as Main Season membership with a focus on Transition practice, Bricks (Bike to Run) and Open Water swim techniques but doesn't start until May 28th and through Aug. 31st.

There is a group workout everyday of the week except a rest day on Monday: swim sessions (pool and open water swim), long runs, running track/speed/hill sessions, long rides, brick sessions, and a comprehensive training plan on Training Peaks. Each athletes' Training Peaks training plan also includes a training and nutrition log. Membership also includes sponsor discounts, race simulations, and monthly skills clinics.

Summer Session (2011): May 28 - Aug 31 $199

Boulder Workout Locations:
Pools: Boulder Rec Center pools, Elks Club.
Open Water: Boulder and Union Reservoirs.
Run/Brick: Local tracks, Boulder Res and various Boulder Trails in Boulder County.
* Open water starts after Memorial Day.

Main Season starts next week!

Please be our guest at our first 2011 Tri Babes Training Main Season Kick-Off practice at Outdoor Divas next Tuesday, March 1st from 5:00-6:15pm.

Brick demo and practice with Tri Babes Training head coach Andie Bernard and team members. Techniques will be taught on how safely and effectively Brick (Bike to Run). Demo includes learning what equipment you need, how to properly set up your transition station, and how to make it FAST!

First week of Pre-season

Today is the first day of Pre-season! Before you leave for practice please check the Google calendar or the Tri Babes hotline 303-351-2776 for the up to date practice times, locations, and type of sport. Our training schedule is subject to change due to weather. So please check in before you leave to make sure you are aware of any practice changes.
